CUSP would like to recognize the efforts of Cornerstone students in getting the opportunity to present at Calvin College this past weekend. Many students were accepted to the local Honor’s program conference, this year held at Calvin.
Cornerstone students and papers included:
Olivia Chance | “Israelite and Judahite Religious Practices”
Dean Dettloff | “Capitalism’s Rotation Method: A Kierkegaardian Response”
Stephanie Rose | “William Penn: A Man of His Times and a Time-Changing Man”
Jordan Skinner | “The Plastic Subject Reformed”
Emily Van Houten | “On the Mind in Samuel Beckett’s Murphy”
Elizabeth Wolbrink | “The Transcendentalists’ Theological Response to the Civil War”
We also want to congratulate Jordan Skinner on his recent presentation at Calvin’s philosophy symposium. He was able to share his fascinating work in the burgeoning new philosophical movement called “speculative realism.”
